Mackenzie Dake – Congratulations on 6 years with SLST!
6 Years with San Luis Sports Therapy
Thank you Dr. Mackenzie Dake, physical therapist, for your contribution to San Luis Sports Therapy (SLST) and Team Movement for Life (Team M4L) over the last six years. Mackenzie began her journey with San Luis Sports Therapy as a physical therapy student intern while attending physical therapy school at Azusa Pacific University. She and her husband, Jeff Dake, were excited to return to the Central Coast of California after graduating from Cal Poly (2007).
Mackenzie enjoys working with the outpatient orthopedic population of all ages. She has mentored physical therapy student interns and PRHS student volunteers in the community health class. In her “spare time”, she spends time with her husband, active son, family and friends. When she actually has “spare time” (which may be a rare occasion theses days as she is the mother of a toddler); she enjoys baking, scrapbooking, spending time at the beach and hiking (when she is not pregnant). Yes, Our SLST family is growing. Mackenzie and Jeff are expecting baby number two soon. Congratulations!
Looking forward to many more years at SLST Paso and with Team M4L.
We would love to have you share how Mackenzie has impacted your recovery or enhanced your experience as a student intern or volunteer. Click here, SLSTPaso.com.

Mackenzie is a lot of fun to work with. She has great energy and an infectious laugh and smile. She is caring towards her patients and coworkers. Plus she is a fellow fro-yo lover and always willing to take the walk to get some with you when you just gotta have it! Roseann C.
Mackenzie has not been with us her entire time with the company but the time she has been with us she has proven to be a great addition to our team. Her sense of humor always adds to our dynamics and atmosphere. Along with her care this has helped create a following with her patients’ who seem to always enjoy seeing her. Jason R.
Mackenzie may give Jen Seay a run for her money on “name that tune and artist” trivia. She also has demonstrated her creativity and expertise treating toddlers in the clinic. Serena R.
Mackenzie has been a PT here for almost two years and it seems like she has been here so much longer. She can always make us laugh and has become the “mama bear” of the team and always makes sure everyone is doing okay. I enjoy working with her on a daily basis and especially enjoy her child level jokes that are told on a regular basis. Lindie B.
