Jen’s degree in Kinesiology from Fresno State, emphasizing in exercise science, along with eight years of experience coaching enhance her ability to meet her clients wherever they are with their physical capabilities and nutrition habits. Ultimately, she works with her clients to determine the best plan to achieve their goals. She continues to advance her fitness training & nutrition career with ongoing education to supplement her coaching skills and clients’ results.
Jen’s work as a fitness and nutrition coach entails fitness training in both semi-private and group classes. She also designs group fitness and customized exercise programs for San Luis Sports Therapy’s Custom Fitness. She has a real passion for building relationships with clients helping them celebrate their achievements during their journey to a healthier lifestyle.
Jen is a native to Paso Robles and a PRHS Bearcat. In her spare time, she loves spending time at the lake with her husband, Kevin Myers, their dogs, extended families and lifelong friends. She demonstrates dedication to Movement for Life in her commitment to regular exercise and healthy nutrition habits. She definitely “walks the walk”. You will see Jen working out on her breaks and sharing delicious, easy to prepare, and healthy recipes.

Having Jen help me get and stay healthy for over a year has been challenging yet fun. Somehow, she has taught (aka tricked) me into tolerating doing burpees and push-ups in my workouts. I think I use to verbalize to Jen how much I despised doing those exercises and all she would do was smile and keep encouraging me to keep going. Whenever I have a fitness or diet question she is always around to answer. I love her coaching style, which to me seems more like a friendly guidance/encouragement, while being open to brainstorming with her clients on all aspects of diet and exercise. I enjoy sending her silly workout videos that I come across on Facebook and talking with her about healthier versions of recipes that she has tried or I have tried. Even my husband doesn’t mind trying some of Jen’s cooking suggestions, including prepping meals for the week. I have also consulted with her about how to stay healthy when I travel out-of-town and she gives me great ideas. I have been taking classes from Jen for several years now. Pretty much every class I complain/tease her about the workout being too tough and she is more than 30 years younger than I am……but she just giggles and says “but you DO it!” She pushes, she instructs, she watches us, she tells entertaining stories about her animals, she laughs and jokes with us, she throws out nutrition and exercise hints and she makes me want to show up again tomorrow!
