Our FITNESS FRIDAY this week is recognizing Madison Romero!

San Luis Sports Therapy – Paso Robles is excited to announce one of our long time clients, Madison Romero, has been recruited to Occidental for a full ride scholarship to play softball! Since Madison and her father credit San Luis Sports Therapy as an integral part of keeping Madison in the game, they have decided to hold the Occidental signing ceremony here in our Paso Robles facility!! We are honored to be a part of this ceremony! CONGRATULATIONS MADISON!
The signing ceremony will take place this Saturday, May 2nd at 12 pm.

Paso Robles Athlete Gets Full Ride to Occidental College
Local Paso Robles Athlete Madison Romero gets full ride Softball scholarship to Occidental College in Los Angeles. Signing Ceremony to take place at San Luis Sports Therapy.


Paso Robles, CA (April 30, 2015) – San Luis Sports Therapy in Paso Robles will host a signing ceremony Saturday, May 2nd @ 12:00 pm for local Paso Robles Athlete Madison Romero. Madison received a full ride scholarship to Occidental College in Los Angeles for the Tiger softball program. Madison has received treatment from San Luis Sports Therapy periodically since age 12 and has accredited the Paso Robles facility and Doctors of Physical Therapy as an integral part of keeping her “in the game.”

Paso Robles High School states: “Madison has been a multiple sport athlete at Paso Robles High School playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. Romero also played with the Fresno Force Softball Club and with the So. Cal Choppers Softball Club of Santa Clarita; a team that placed ninth this past summer in the Premiere Girls Fast Pitch Softball Association National Championship. Despite numerous injuries, she caught the attention of several NCAA softball programs with her skill as a pitcher. She currently has a 2.04 ERA with 46 strikeouts for the Bearcat softball team. Romero has a 4.44 Grade Point Average (GPA) and ranks sixth in the Class of 2015. Her major at Occidental College will be Biology/Pre-med, with the goal of becoming a pediatrician.”

BBQ pizza


Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza


-Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, Diced & Cooked
-Salt & Pepper, To Taste
-Olive Oil Cooking Spray
-Whole Wheat Tortillas or Whole Wheat Flat Bread/Pita
-3 Tbsp. BBQ Sauce, All-Natural or Your Favorite
-¼ cup Pineapple Chunks
-¼ cup Sliced Bell Peppers, Color of Choice
-¼ cup Sliced  Red Onion
-Optional: ¼ cup Sliced Cherry Tomatoes
-Optional: A sprinkle of Mozzarella & Cheddar
-Optional: Chopped Cilantro

-Season chicken with salt & pepper
-Cook using your own method; set aside
-Preheat oven at 400°F
-Lightly coat a baking sheet with spray & place the tortilla shell on the tray
-Spread the BBQ sauce evenly around the shell leaving the outside inch free for the crust
-Combine all the other ingredients except for the cheese in a mixing bowl & toss
-Spread mixture evenly covering the BBQ sauce
-Top with the cheese, if using, & bake until cheese is melted & shell is lightly toasted, about 10-15 minutes
