Today is National Walk to Work Day & San Luis Sports Therapy – Paso Robles’ very first Fitness Friday!

Each Friday in the month of April our team of Certified Personal Trainers will put together a fun exercise for you to try! We might even throw in one of our Certified Precision Level 1 Nutritionist, Jen Myers, yummy and healthy recipes!
We’re kicking off Fitness Friday by participating in National Walk to Work Day and sharing Jen Myer’s Apple Cider Chicken recipe! Happy Fitness Friday!

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
3 Tsp. Herbs De Provence
1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1 Tsp. Garlic & Onion Powder
¼ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
4-6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts

Instructions:
-Combine vinegar, herbs de provence, mustard, powders, oil salt & pepper. Mix well
-Place chicken into a re-sealable plastic bag
-Add marinade, close, shake & move the bag around to evenly coat the chicken
-Let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, grill on the BBQ or bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes until cooked through or use your own favorite cooking method!
*You can also freeze up to 2 weeks. When ready to cook, thaw overnight in the refrigerator or under cold, running water, or in the microwave at 30% power for 1 minute at a time
