Hot August days are upon us, make sure you aware of the symptoms of heat stress such as, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Those most at risk…
during these hot days are those who work outside, those with heart conditions, elderly and children.
Some ways to beat the heat and keep cool are…
Wearing light colored clothes when in the sun.
Keep yourself shaded and use sunscreen or cover up when in the sun.
Drink lots of water, avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Eat lost of fresh fruit and salad.
Be safe and smart in the heat!
