Beat the Heat – 2016
It’s August, that means it’s HOT here in Paso (not that it hasn’t already been hot)!
We’ve compiled some tips to help you Beat the Heat this summer.
Signs of dehydration
Fatigue, confusion or anger
Dry eyes or blurred vision
Lack of Sweat
If you do travel, do so in the evening when it’s cooler.
Wear loose-fitting and light colored clothing.
Fruits & vegetables with high water content, such as watermelon, cucumber and citrus fruits.
Keeping a spray bottle in the fridge for when the heat spikes can come in very handy. Give yourself a spritz to keep your body temp down.
Step away from the computer.
Computers product a lot of heat from the energy they use. Stepping away from your desktop and/or notebook will give you and your computer a break. Let the computer go into “sleep” mode to assist with the cool down.
