3 Year Work Anniversary – Kyle Hamelin
Congratulations Kyle Hamelin!!
We want to thank Kyle Hamelin for his amazing dedication and flexibility during the last 3 years with San Luis Sports Therapy’s Paso Robles location and Team Movement for Life. Kyle has been attending school at Cuesta College while working with us full time as a physical therapy aide. He applies his knowledge and skills in exercise science and human movement when assisting the physical therapists assuring the patients he works with are performing their rehabilitation programs safely and correctly. Over the years Kyle has also been instrumental in training new physical therapy aides on the treatment floor in applying modalities, providing excellent customer service and true teamwork. He has always stepped up to cover shifts not hesitating to help out.
Kyle aspires to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He will transition this fall to California State University, Northridge to pursue a double major in Business and Kinesiology. Your determination has paid off. WAY TO GO KYLE!!!
Kyle will be missed here at SLST Paso, but we know you will be an amazing Doctor of Physical Therapy!!!
A few words from his teammates…
Kyle is the ultimate team player. Not only in the office but out on the softball field as well. With our therapist Jen’s recent injury, he willingly took her to the hospital, spent the night caring for her and took her to her doctor’s appointment the next day. I know that Kyle always has my back in the office when caring for patients. He is able to read my mind and we have even developed our own sign language to communicate from across the room. He anticipates my every move, and often has what I need (weights, bands, foam rolls, ice, etc.) to continue with my patients’ treatment before I even know I need it. When he recently had a day off, a patient said, “But what will you do without Kyle?! He’s literally your right-hand man!” To be honest, I don’t know what I would do without Kyle. He makes my life as a therapist so much less stressful! Thanks, Kyle, for all that you do for me and the rest of our PT family on a daily basis. Gold stars all around! Mackenzie D.
Kyle is definitely a team player. He is quick to help his fellow co-workers and is always down for our crazy shenanigans happening both in and out of work. Kyle is someone you know you can count on, he is a genuine great guy and all of his co-workers and the patients he works with can sense that about him. We give him a fair share of teasing for how “nerdy” he can be and the INSANE amount of times he’s seen Star Wars, but he is a great sport and will tease us all back just as much. Kyle has been a great part of the team and a great friend for the past 3 years! Antje K.
Kyle’s skills expand beyond exercise and rehabilitation. He is one of the most easy going guys I have ever known. It has been a pleasure to have him as a member of the SLST Paso team. Kyle (maybe with the help of Chef Mom) contributes delicious dishes to our potlucks/BBQ’s and his drink mixology skills are pretty incredible. “May the force be with you” Kyle wherever your journey takes you. Serena R.
Kyle is one of the best human beings I’ve ever met. His genuine kindness and caring demeanor make both patients and coworkers adore him. While none of us quite understand his obsession for Star Wars, I can’t imagine working at SLST without him. I’m proud to be able to call him a friend, coworker, and teammate. Katie F.
